What effect does Triofan Complete Cough Syrup have?

Sore throats, coughs and other acute affections of the throat and tracheobronchial tract are very common. They are often caused by pathogens or exposure to noxious agents - irritants and pollutants, extreme temperatures.

Triofan Complete Cough Syrup contains plant extracts that protect the mucous membrane, soothe coughs and promote expectoration. The polysaccharides contained in the plant extracts and in the ^MUCOBARRYL® PLUS complex form a mucoadhesive film with a protective and barrier effect, which inhibits the adhesion of pathogenic microorganisms to the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract and protects them from harmful environmental irritants.

Due to their affinity for water, the polysaccharides promote the hydration of the mucous membranes and thin the mucus. In addition, the soothing extracts have a dry and productive cough-suppressing effect.

The product contains honey, which gives it a pleasant flavour.
