Traumaplant is a plant-based ointment preparation. The extract of comfrey (Symphytum) it contains is used for bruises and sprains (sports and accident injuries), joint and muscle pain and has a decongestant and pain-relieving effect. Traumaplant supports wound healing in the case of minor injuries. Traumaplant is indicated for the treatment of blunt (i.e. bloodless) injuries with pain and inflammation of joints and muscles, sprains, contusions and bruises as well as abrasions or other superficial, bloodless skin injuries.
