Solmag 300 is a mineral preparation and contains 300 mg magnesium per effervescent tablet, corresponding to 12.3 mmol.

Solmag 300 is used to treat magnesium deficiency and to cover increased magnesium requirements in high-performance sport and during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Solmag 300 can be used on medical prescription or on the advice of a pharmacist

• for hyperexcitability of the muscles;
• for muscular cramps and calf cramps;
• to prevent the formation of certain urinary stones;
• in cases of increased magnesium loss due to the intake of certain medicines (e.g. aminoglycoside antibiotics, cyclosporin A, amphotericin, diuretic medicines or medicines for cardiac insufficiency).

Solmag 300 can be used on the prescription of a doctor

• for the treatment of certain cardiac arrhythmias;
• as adjunctive therapy for coronary heart disease;
• for convulsions;
• for cramps during pregnancy (eclampsia);
• in cases of threatened premature birth.
