Indications:

Similasan Eye Wipes Sensitive are intended for the localised daily treatment of the eye area, including eyelids and eyelashes, in adults and children with sensitive skin, eyelids and eyes in order to:

• Remove dirt and secretions resulting from allergies, inflammations, infections (e.g. blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, hordeolum / styes, chalazion) or eye surgery.
• Remove foreign bodies (e.g. pollen, dust, make-up).

Similasan Eye Wipes Sensitive are suitable for cleaning the eyelids in the case of dry eyes (e.g. dysfunction of the Ameibomian gland). Similasan Eye Wipes Sensitive are suitable for use during the pre- or post-operative phase of refractive laser eye surgery, cataract surgery and therapeutic injections into the eyes. Similasan Eye Wipes Sensitive are also suitable for contact lens wearers due to their particularly low-irritation formulation.

Properties:

Similasan Eye Wipes Sensitive are soft wipes for daily localised treatment of the eye area. They have been specially developed for patients with sensitive skin, eyelids and eyes. Similasan Eye Wipes Sensitive are suitable for the optimal mechanical removal of dirt,
Secretions and foreign bodies, taking full account of the physiology of the eye area, which is particularly sensitive and delicate.

Composition:

Soft swabs, soaked in a solution of: Water, propylene glycol, cocoyl wheat amino acids, glycerine, sodium chloride, Camellia sinensis (tea) leaf extract, sodium citrate, citric acid.

Instructions for use:

After carefully cleaning your hands, open the sachet and pull out the cloth. Apply the wipe to the eyelid area and wipe gently to ensure adequate cleansing, removal of debris, secretions and foreign bodies from the eye area. In the case of particularly stubborn secretions or the blockage of a tear duct, it is advisable to warm the closed bag in lukewarm water (approx. 40 ¦C) for a few minutes and then use the cloth as a warm compress to gently massage the area. On the other hand, in case of inflammation, it is advisable to cool the bag in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open cloth to the eye, leaving it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress. It is not necessary to rinse after use.

Warnings:

Product sterility is only guaranteed if the bag is intact. The wipe is intended for single use. Reusing it can spread infection. Store in a cool and dry place. The disposable wipe may change colour due to the natural plant extracts. This is normal. Keep out of the reach of children. For external use.
Discontinue treatment if there is obvious irritation or hypersensitivity to the product. In case of infection, do not use the same wipe for both eyes. Read the instructions for use carefully.
