What is Simalaya and when is it used?
Mucus, crust formation and dryness of the upper respiratory tract often hinder breathing in children and adults. In small children who are unable to blow their nose themselves, mucus trapped in the nose or an incrustation of the nasal mucosa can significantly impede breathing. Isotonic saline solutions prevent the nasal mucosa from drying out, soften crusts and dissolve stuck mucus. Simalaya nasal douche contains Himalayan salt, an ancient sea salt from the Himalayan mountains, where it is protected from environmental toxins. Due to its content of numerous minerals and trace elements, it is considered to be very healthy and is the original form of natural salt. To support its soothing effect, Simalaya contains anáextract of meadow pasque flower (Pulsatillaápratensis).á

Use Simalaya for

• gentle cleansing and care of the nasal cavities
• Moisturising dry, even encrusted nasal mucosa (e.g. consequences of dry air in heated and air-conditioned rooms such as offices, aeroplanes, etc.)
• Reduction of irritation in sensitive nasal mucosa (e.g. sensitivity toápollen, house dust, ozone, etc.)
• Liquefaction of the nasal mucus.á

áHowdo you use Simalaya?
Dosage: Spray into the nasal cavities 2-4 times a day as required. Simalaya may be used over a longer period of time without hesitation

áInstructions for use:

• Remove the cap.
• Bend the head forwards.
• Insert the spray head into the nostrilá(not too deep) and press briefly on the spray head to inject a sufficient amount of Simalaya (see illustration). The spray head can be used in any position.
• Blow nose as required.
• It is recommended to clean the nose piece of theáspray head with a cloth after each use.á

Warnings and precautions:

• It is important to follow the instructions for use.
• Not suitable for children under 2 years of age.
• Do not use the product if you are known to be sensitive to one or more of the ingredients in Simalaya.
• If hypersensitivity occurs during the use of Simalaya, discontinue use of this product
• In case of persistent or frequently recurring irritation or encrustation of the nasal mucosa, consult a specialist.
• In case of complaints after operations and accidents, the advice of a doctor should be sought.
• For reasons of hygiene, Simalaya should not be used by more than one person.
• When used as directed, no special precautions are necessaryá

• Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and otherá sources of ignition. Do not smoke.
