The maca plant originates from the high altitudes of the Peruvian Andes and has been cultivated there for over 2000 years. In its harsh environment, the plant defies adversities such as strong temperature fluctuations, wind and aggressive UV radiation. It passes on its resilience to us in the form of its healthy ingredients. In Peru, maca has always been used as a tonic for the whole body.
Our maca roots are dried in a gentle process and processed into powder from which the maca capsules are made.
