Product details
Phytovir is a herbal remedy containing an extract of rhubarb root and an extract of sage leaves. Both the rhubarb root and the sage leaves have an antiviral effect against herpes viruses. Sage leaves also have an anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effect. The complementary effects of these plants accelerate the healing of herpes labialis (cold sores or fever blisters). Phytovir is used externally to treat herpes labialis (cold sores).
