Original Dr Andres Comfrey Ointment is a concentrated, fat-free application made from fresh comfrey. Comfrey (Symphytum officinale, Boraginaceae) is traditionally said to have soothing, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The extract used for the Original Dr Andres Comfrey Ointment is made exclusively from fresh roots, which are extracted immediately after harvesting using a specially developed process. The proportion of roots in this extract is 30%.
The Original Dr Andres Comfrey Ointment is used externally as a supportive treatment for rheumatic diseases (joint and muscle pain, arthrosis) and after accidents and sports injuries (bruises, sprains, strains, etc.).
