Nasic is a nasal spray with a spray device and contains two active ingredients: xylometazoline has vasoconstrictive properties and thus causes swelling of the mucous membrane. Dexpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin pantothenic acid, which is characterised by its wound-healing and mucous membrane-protecting properties.
Nasic is used to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in the event of a cold.
On prescription from a doctor
If prescribed by a doctor, Nasic can also be used in cases of runny nose (vasomotor rhinitis) and to treat nasal obstruction following nasal surgery.
Nasic is intended for adults and children from 6 years of age.
