Preparation
If possible, always prepare "Modulen" IBD fresh immediately before consumption.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
2. Measure out the amount of water required and pour the water into a clean, sufficiently large container. Use fresh drinking water or freshly boiled drinking water cooled to room temperature or carbonated mineral water as directed by your doctor or dietitian to prepare "Modules" IBD. ?
3. Measure the powder according to the dosage instructions. Use the measuring spoon supplied with the tin or an accurate kitchen scale.
4. Stir the powder into the water with the aid of a whisk or use a shaker cup.
5. Consume the prepared food immediately or store the prepared food in a clean, sealable container in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours until consumption.
6. Shake or stir the prepared food well again before consumption.

Amount of finished product
- 250 ml, 250 kcal: 210 ml water + 6 scoops (= 50 g powder)
- 250 ml, 375 kcal: 190 ml water + 9 measuring spoons (= 75 g powder)
- 1000 ml, 1000 kcal: 850 ml water + 24 measuring spoons (= 200 g powder)
- 1000 ml, 1500 kcal: 750 ml water + 36 scoops (= 300 g powder)

One level measuring spoon = 8.3 g.
ATTENTION: Do not change the water/powder ratio. Follow instructions for use or medical advice.

Storage
Store unopened in a cool, dry place.
Once opened, consume the contents of the can within 4 weeks.
If used as a drinkable food: Drink prepared drink immediately or consume covered at room temperature within 4 hours, refrigerated within 24 hours. Tastes best when chilled.
For use as tube feeding: Pour prepared product into a sterile enteral feeding system with an empty bag and administer within 4 hours.á
