The Medela SpecialNeeds teat is suitable for children with cleft lip and palate and for babies with neurological difficulties. The one-way valve between the bottle and the extended teat prevents air from getting in. The teat also has a slit valve, which allows you to determine the amount of milk that passes through by simply changing the position of the teat in your baby's mouth. This allows your baby to access the valuable breast milk with gentle sucking movements. In this way, your baby's natural need to suck is satisfied, even though the suction power is too low for breastfeeding. By squeezing the teat, you can also support your child's milk intake.

The pack contains the bottle and teat plus a replacement teat. All materials used here are free from Bisphenol-A BPA.
