The Calma breast milk teat enables babies to maintain their natural sucking behaviour, similar to breastfeeding. An infant can drink, breathe and pause evenly. The Calma breastmilk teat also makes it possible to reintroduce the baby to the breast.

When breastfeeding and using the teat, the baby must build up a vacuum so that milk flows. As soon as it pauses, the flow of milk is stopped in a similar way to breastfeeding.
