Kytta Ointment contains an extract made from the fresh roots of Symphytum officinale (comfrey) using a special process. Kytta ointment has a decongestant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Kytta Ointment is non-greasy and does not smear and is therefore easy to wash off. Kytta Ointment is used externally as a supportive treatment for degenerative rheumatoid diseases (e.g. osteoarthritis of the knee), muscle, joint and nerve pain, as well as for blunt, bloodless injuries such as bruises, strains and sprains. It is also used for tendinitis and, if recommended by a doctor, for the follow-up treatment of fractures and dislocations.
