contributes to the reduction of fatigue and tiredness and
increases the absorption of iron.

Aronia berries have a remarkable content of OPC (= oligomeric proanthocyanidins) of 664mg/100g on average and polyphenols compared to other fruits. Fresh aronia berries contain around 10,000 mg of polyphenols per kilogramme, while blackberries contain around 2,500 mg, raspberries around 1,300 mg and strawberries around 1,000 mg (in each case per kg of fresh fruit)*. The picture is similar for anthocyanins: aronia berries contain around 4300 mg, while blackberries come in at around 1100 mg and raspberries and strawberries at around 250 mg each.
