Ichtholan Traction Ointment contains ichthammolum (ammonium bituminosulphonate) as an active ingredient and has an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect. In the case of purulent skin processes, it accelerates the melting of the centre of the disease and the breakthrough of the pus to the outside in the advanced stage of inflammation.

Ichtholan Traction Ointment is used in various concentrations for the treatment of different inflammatory skin diseases:

• Ichtholan 10% traction ointment for superficial inflammatory diseases of the skin
• Ichtholan 20% Ointment for deeper inflammatory skin conditions such as abscesses, nail bed inflammation, sweat gland inflammation and sweat gland abscesses.
• Ichtholan 50% traction ointment for the maturation of boils
