Hirudoid forte Gel 4.45 mg/g Tb 40 g

Hirudoid forte Gel contains the active ingredient heparinoid MPS (chondroitin polysulphate). MPS is the abbreviation for mucopolysaccharide polysulphate. This active ingredient prevents the formation of blood clots and promotes their regression. It also eliminates inflammatory processes and fluid accumulation in the tissue.

After using Hirudoid forte Gel, tissue tension and the associated pain are reduced, swelling and haematoma subside and the heaviness in the legs is alleviated.

Hirudoid forte Gel is used

• for complaints associated with varicose veins such as pain, heaviness and swollen legs (stasis oedema)
• for blunt sports and accident injuries such as bruises, contusions, strains, bruising and swelling
• for pain in muscles and tendons

The gel has a cooling effect.

If prescribed by a doctor, Hirudoid forte Gel can also be used

• for (superficial) phlebitis;
• for inflammation of varicose veins,
• for the follow-up treatment of sclerotherapy;
• for the supportive treatment of venous thrombosis

can be used.
