Gaviscon Liquid Mint is used for stomach burning and acid regurgitation. The sodium alginate contained in Gaviscon Liquid Mint forms a viscous gel that quickly and effectively lies on the stomach contents and forms a barrier against acid regurgitation.

Sodium hydrogen carbonate and calcium carbonate neutralise some of the excess stomach acid. This eliminates the symptoms caused by stomach acidity for up to 4 hours.
