Floradix Iron + Vitamins Tonic is a dietary supplement containing iron and vitamins in liquid form.á

Iron and vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C contribute to normal energy metabolism and help to reduce tiredness and fatigue. Iron and vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to the normal formation of red blood cells. Vitamin B1 contributes to normal energy metabolism.

Floradix Iron + Vitamins Tonic is free from preservatives, colourings, alcohol and lactose. It is suitable for vegetarians.

Consumption recommendation
- Shake bottle well before use.
- Use the enclosed measuring cup.
- take 10 ml 2 x daily, 30 minutes before a meal (ideally 1 x before breakfast).
- 20 ml cover the daily requirement of iron

Important
Do not drink directly from the bottle.

To prevent the contents from fermenting, the bottle must be closed immediately after each use, stored upright in the refrigerator and used within 4 weeks.

Salus recommends
For optimum iron absorption, iron should be taken at least 30 minutes before a meal on its own or, if desired, with water, herbal tea or fruit juice and should not be combined with coffee, green/black tea (tannins) or dairy products. Components of other food supplements or medicines as well as certain foods (e.g. wholemeal products and pulses) taken together with iron can also impair iron absorption.

A 12-week intake is recommended and can be extended or repeated at a later date if necessary.

- Mixture of fruit juice concentrates (26 %): Pear, grape, blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry, orange, beetroot, carob extract, water, lemon, apple.á
- Watery yeast extract, honey (3.8 %), rose hip juice concentrate with 4 % vitamin C (0.9 %), ferrous gluconate (iron), L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), wheat germ extract, natural flavourings, sodium riboflavin-5Æ-phosphate (vitamin B2), thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), methylcobalamin (vitamin B12).
