Composition of

D-Mannose.

Properties

Femannose is a medical product with a purely physical mode of action. It is used for the treatment and prevention of cystitis. Thanks to the natural ingredient D-mannose, the bacteria that cause cystitis cannot adhere to the mucous membranes and are excreted in the urine.

Femannose is available in powder form in pre-packed sachets and has a pleasant fruity flavour. The powder is very well tolerated and can be taken in addition to an antibiotic in the case of very severe symptoms.

Dosage for acute cystitis

For adults and children aged 14 and over:
Drink three sachets dissolved in water from the 1st to the 3rd day, then two more sachets daily on the 4th and 5th day.

Dosage for prevention

For adults and children aged 14 and over:
Drink 1 sachet daily dissolved in water.

Advice

• If the symptoms last longer than 3 days, or if fever or blood appears in the urine, a doctor must be consulted.
• For best results, drink at least 2 litres of water (promotes elimination).
