Preservative-free eye drops for treating the typical symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis such as irritated, itchy eyes and swollen eyelids. They are suitable for adults and children from the age of 3 and can be used before and after wearing contact lenses.

Single application, single use. 2-4x daily over 2 weeks (with medical consultation up to 6 weeks)

«Eye allergy», what does that mean?

An allergy is a specific, inappropriate reaction of the immune system to certain harmless substances from our environment, e.g. plants such as grass or tree pollen, animal products such as cat hair or bee venom, or metals such as chromium, nickel and preservatives. Pollen allergy is the most common form of allergy in our latitudes, as a reaction of our immune system to one or more types of pollen. An eye allergy is an allergy-induced inflammation of the conjunctiva of the eye (medical term: conjunctivitis allergica).

«Eye allergy & dry eyes

If pollen or other allergens get into the eye, they trigger symptoms such as itching, tearing, redness and possibly also swelling of the eyelids in allergy sufferers. In addition, the natural tear film is impaired, which can also lead to dry eyes. Approximately 58% of patients with allergic eyes also have dry eyes.1 It should also be borne in mind that anti-allergic drugs can cause dry eyes due to their active ingredient.

«Treatment of eye allergies

The simplest treatment for eye allergies is to avoid the allergy-causing substances/substances. If this is not possible, medications such as antihistamines in the form of eye drops or, in the case of more severe symptoms, in tablet form are used. The use of moisturising drops can be useful for symptoms of dry eyes, which accompany eye allergies.
