The main ingredient of DulcoSoft is Macrogol 4000, an osmotically effective laxative. Macrogol 4000 can bind large quantities of water. It acts as a carrier of liquid (water) and delays its absorption in the intestine, which leads to a greater water content in the colon, where the hardened stool is softened and the volume of the stool is increased. This stimulates bowel movements and facilitates bowel evacuation, thus contributing to a gentle and effective improvement in constipation and irregular bowel movements.

Macrogol 4000 has an exclusively physical mechanism of action: It is practically not absorbed by the organism and is excreted unchanged.
