Creon micro Mikropellets Glasfl 20 g

Creon Micro contains the active ingredient pancreatin with the enzymes important for the digestion of food (lipase, amylase and proteases) in concentrated form. These break down the fats, proteins and carbohydrates contained in food into usable components.

On the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or chemist, Creon Micro is used to treat or supplement inadequate pancreatic function, i.e, in the event of a deficiency or absence of digestive enzymes, e.g. following acute pancreatitis at the start of reintroduction of food or artificial nutrition, chronic pancreatitis, cystic pancreatic fibrosis or following surgical interventions in the digestive tract.

Creon Micro contains pancreatin in the form of so-called micropellets. The fine-grained pellets with a protective coating mix with the stomach contents.

The digestive enzymes are only released from the micro-pellets in the small intestine and rapidly break down fats, proteins and carbohydrates. The digestive products of the food can now be absorbed from the intestine, just like the natural digestive process.
