Contopharma „Clean R“ is the result of a long development1  in the search for a non-abrasive (to protect the lenses), surfactant-containing formulation with high cleaning power and no irritation in direct contact with the eye. Contopharma „Cleanse R“ is free from heavy metal-containing disinfectants.

Contopharma „Rinse S“ is a polyfunctional rinsing and storage solution for dimensionally stable gas permeable contact lenses. It keeps the lens in a hydrated, isotonic state and inhibits the growth of contaminating microorganisms without accumulating the mucous membrane-compatible preservative on the surface of the contact lenses. A special mixture of combined polymers („antisoiling agent“) hydrophilises the contact lens to optimise wearing comfort, facilitates the cleaning process („antisoiling effect) and largely prevents the accumulation of contaminants, minimising secondary immune reactions (eye irritation, GPC, etc.).
