Betadine ointment gauze is an air-permeable gauze coated with Betadine disinfectant wound ointment. It kills bacteria, fungi, viruses and other infection-causing pathogens.
Betadine ointment gauze is used to prevent and treat infections in minor wounds, abrasions, skin damage, skin tears and small, minor burns (without blistering).
Betadine Ointment Gauze is also used exclusively on medical prescription to disinfect pressure sores (decubitus ulcers), open legs (leg ulcers) and other infected skin damage.
