Bepanthen Foam Spray is a white, soft foam in the form of a modern nanoemulsion for application to minor burns and sunburn. The foam does not need to be massaged into the skin, but is absorbed by itself and therefore allows painless application.

Use Bepanthen foam spray for

- minor burns, e.g. caused by hot water, hot steam or hot objects;

- mild sunburn caused by excessive or prolonged exposure to the sun.

Bepanthen Foam Spray has a cooling effect and provides the skin with lasting moisture for minor burns and sunburn. This has a soothing and soothing effect on irritated skin.

What are minor burns/sunburns and how are they treated?

Mild burns and mild sunburn are so-called first-degree burns (superficial burns) that only affect the top layer of skin (epidermis) and do not form blisters. Minor burns - caused by hot water, hot steam or hot objects, for example - and minor sunburn due to excessive or prolonged exposure to the sun are accompanied by the typical signs of inflammation (heat, redness and swelling of the skin). The damaged area of skin is painful and feels dry and tight.

Immediate cooling of burns prevents further cell damage and is therefore very important. Cooling also has a pain-relieving effect. Moisturising the skin supports the natural healing process and soothes skin irritation.

How does Bepanthen foam spray work?

Skin damaged by burns needs cooling and moisturising. Bepanthen Foam Spray was specifically developed to immediately cool and moisturise the skin after minor burns.

The immediate cooling effect is achieved by the rapid evaporation of water from the foam layer on the surface of the skin. Thanks to the innovative Nanosorb™ technology used in Bepanthen Foam Spray, the ingredients are provided in the form of tiny droplets (in the nano range) that improve and intensify contact with the skin. This enables rapid absorption of moisture by the skin.

The cooling and moisturising effect also has a soothing effect on skin irritation caused by minor burns and sunburn and reduces the unpleasant feeling of tightness in the skin.

The nanoemulsion also contains physiological skin lipids (e.g. lecithin) and dexpanthenol. They form a moisturising environment on the damaged skin barrier and thus support the natural healing process.
