Bepanthen MED Plus Creme 4 Tb 3.5 g

Bepanthen MED Plus is a colourless disinfectant and wound healing agent. It prevents and inhibits infections in superficial wounds and supports healing.

Bepanthen MED Plus is available as a cream or spray.

Bepanthen MED Plus contains the active ingredient chlorhexidine, which combats bacteria present on the skin or that have entered the wound through dirt. This can prevent or contain infection of the wound.

Bepanthen MED Plus also contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol. This active ingredient is converted into the vitamin pantothenic acid in the skin and supports the formation and regeneration of skin cells from the inside out. The formation of new skin tissue is accelerated and the wound heals more quickly. The elasticity of the newly formed skin tissue is also increased.

Bepanthen MED Plus relieves pain thanks to its cooling effect. The cream is easy to apply and wash off; it is non-greasy and non-sticky. The spray can be applied without touching the wound and hardly stings.

Use Bepanthen MED Plus

• for all types of small wounds with a risk of infection, such as abrasions, small cuts and scratches, chapped skin, minor burns and sores;
• for infected skin inflammations;
• for the treatment of inflamed nipples during breastfeeding;
• only on medical prescription for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers (ulcus cruris), bedsores (decubitus) and surgical wounds.
