Becozym forte contains seven important vitamins of the B group. Like all vitamins, the vitamins of the B group cannot be produced by the body itself, but must be taken in with food.

The vitamins of the B group are components of very specific enzymes (ferments). Their task is to utilise carbohydrates, fats and proteins from food to generate energy and to build and function nerves, blood, skin, mucous membranes and muscles. The interaction of the vitamins of the B group is of the utmost importance here.

Becozym forte contains the vitamins of the B group required by the body. It is therefore used for the prevention and treatment of existing vitamin B deficiencies, which can have the following causes:

• An unbalanced diet with a bland diet, slimming diets; excessive alcohol consumption and a lack of appetite, such as occurs in febrile illnesses.
• Medicines that neutralise the vitamin effect. These include in particular preparations to combat serious infections (anti-infectives), preparations that inhibit the growth of cancer cells (cytostatics) and those taken to prevent epileptic seizures (anticonvulsants).
• Liver diseases that impair the incorporation of vitamins into enzymes.
• Chronic alcoholism and its consequences, such as damage to the liver, heart and nervous system.
