Anginova is used for the local treatment of acute inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat, such as sore throat, difficulty swallowing, oral thrush (Candida infection), aphthae and as a concomitant medication for angina.

Anginova contains two active ingredients. Dequalinium chloride is effective against most bacteria and fungi involved in mouth and throat infections as well as against yeasts (Candida). Lidocaine is analgesic and relieves swallowing difficulties.
