Aknichthol 30g Suspension

Aknichthol contains two active ingredients:

• Light-coloured sodium bituminosulphonate (light-coloured sulphonated shale oil): has an antibacterial effect, reduces painful skin inflammation and promotes blood circulation.
• Salicylic acid: normalises the excessive cornification of the sebaceous glands caused by acne and also has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Aknichthol is a medicinal product for the external treatment of mild to moderate acne.

The use of Aknichthol fulfils three treatment principles of the local therapy of acne vulgaris (blackheads/blemishes):

1. Cleansing and degreasing
2. Therapeutic influence of the various active ingredients
3. Covering effect (discrete covering of visible skin changes)
